God Writes A Letter

Hi,

It's Me, God. It's Easter time again and I thought this would be a good time to explain a few things to you. What I have to say may not be easy to hear in some parts but it is Truth, and needs to be said.

Your iniquities have separated you from Me. Your sins have hidden My face from you. Your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue mutters wicked things (Isaiah 59:2-3). You have sinned against Me and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

But take heart, because the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ! (Romans 6:23) I love you so much that I sent My one and only Son, Jesus Christ. If you believe in Him you shall not perish but have eternal life. For I did not send My Son into the world to condemn you, but to save you through Him (John 3:16).

He was born of a virgin in the town of Bethlehem. Though a King, He humbled Himself and became a servant and a sacrifice. He loved, and taught others how to love. Yet, He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. He took up your infirmities and carried your sorrows. He was pierced for your transgressions; He was crushed for your iniquities. The punishment that brought you peace with Me was upon Him. It is by His wounds that you are healed. (Isaiah 53: 3-5) Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to Me except through Him (John 14:6).

Easter is a time set aside to remember that My Son, Jesus, died on the cross for your sins and was raised from the grave. It is a time to be thankful because He paid the wages of sin so you wouldn't have to. And it is a time to celebrate the event that bridged the gap between you and I.

I have provided you a way to be with Me in heaven and escape judgement. It is My gift to you. You don't deserve it, and you cannot afford to buy it. I offer it to you for free because I love you and want you to be here with Me. All that you need to do is accept this most wonderful gift. I will not force you to accept it. You must accept it by your own free will.
