CAN A PERSON LOOSE HIS SALVATION?

A: You cannot lose you salvation. John 10:28-30 are good verses to look at:

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one."

Someone may say, “Well we can’t loose our salvation, but we can decide to reject salvation later on.”

I don't think even that is possible. I think it's possible to refuse salvation in the first place. We have free will and like Joshua said, "...if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve." (Joshua 24:14-15)

But once we've truly accepted Jesus and trust in Him for our salvation nothing can change that.

Again someone may say, "Well, what about Judas or someone like that". But 1 John 2:19 says that if someone leaves the faith they were never a part of the faith to begin with:

"They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us." (1 John 2:19)
