Jesus Knows You By Name



When we think of all the people who follow Christ, it seems hard to believe that He knows and calls each one by name. Yet this truth is made very clear in Scripture.

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.” (Isaiah 43:1)

And again…

“I am the Good Shepherd and I know My sheep.” (John 10:14)

Just as every mother knows her own children by name, the Lord knows each of us by name.

There’s great comfort in this teaching. We’re not lost in the crowd. Each one of God’s children is the special object of His love and thoughts and care!
